"In the World of the Martial Arts your safer knowing it then not.."

Self Defense is For Self Defense Only

Basics to Shaolin: you learn by sashes, black, white, blue, mixed, red, black/red then red/black...In each sash level you do two weapons and 3 main arts..each art assigned by the skill shown as one advances, It is up to the student to show they are ready, not the Sifu/Guide to just give you the sash for "the amount of time you was there", We don't here at "Sho-Lung-Dojo" promote unless you can do it, or have been doing what will be the lessons to come without knowing it... (its a spirit thing) "those that graduate get the right to Instruct" (as one progresses from sash to sash, they will gain animal system arts from sash to sash, some might gain more then one awareness of them, but they normally begin in "Shaolin Training" as white sash to red............

IShorin Ryu: You will learn the small forest style, the basic 3-5 weapons, penetrating the fortress, the basics of "Shorin Jutsu Ryu" and all the skills that are require of this art of "the crashing tide" (shorin is a spiritual art as much as a fighting art, it takes its belt design from the "rope of the shinto" and developed it from there to the judo/jutsu ranking imagery of today's karate, you will be learning not to be a "System" but how to hold your own against any other... Shorin of our school offers the way of the sword to those who are ready as well... (so if you seek harmony and peace) this may be right for you...(MARTIAL ARTS WAS MADE FOR WAR, BUT IT WAS THE WAR FOR PEACE, NOT FIGHTING)

Samurai Aki/Jutsu: "HONORED IS THE MAN WHO FINDS STRENGTH IN NOT VICTORY BUT JUSTICE" The secret code of the "Bushido" (the way of the samurai is a strange one because we seek to move the target not stop it, unlike movies and videos the real art is to become friends with your enemies if you can, YOU ARE NOT AT WAR, WITH YOURSELF OR THE WORLD, but your neither helpless as well, in this art you will learn the tools of the samurai, aikijutsu and the ranks of the torii, the way of the single, and double swords and much more, kendo is not samurai, it is the idea of training to it.. (a sport can never show you a lifestyle) it can only teach you where it is not.. "but one has to see for themselves don't they"....

Freestyle, Kenpo, Chi-kung, Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do, : Mixed arts of the Outer kung-fu systems, FREESTYLE: basic and to adaptable use forms with no follow through used only to enhance basics, KENPO: multi animal based for using shortcuts to tap and control the attacker, 3 systems (tiger, eagle, dragon), CHI-KUNG: Is a training state using tiger understanding to harden the mind and tools of the body to be a weapon in itself, was more for healing and revilitizing the spirit in the past.. WINGCHUN: butterfly hand, application called 'wing-su" because of speed and form, has only 2 sashes (youth/adult) is a very powerful art in itself and the future foreground to "freestyle thinking", JEET KUNE DO.... a multi boxing and leg extention art create for the purpose of interception of a art before it arrives, it is based on the crane application in wing thinking 'butterfly method" and tiger form that came from the developing arm technics as punches but not open palm... (there is 3 stages, learn, do, become...) its not a sash art but one can be given one after mastering the DO part of this "conception"more on this but it is not about what you will learn, but why it should be seen..

Ninjutsu: (the art of stealth and material awareness) Kusan-Kagi-Nin: is the visible name of this art, the real name is only allowed to those within, we are not 'bujinkan" and after you see us in work, you might not want to be as well, "before Iga and Koja" (there was us...(but for the sake of arguement, we aren't out to do anything the media has shown you, we are "better then that", ninjutsu is the art of seeing before sight is needed... tough to do and can take a lifetime, but in here at this "study" this is what your asking for... (you will learn the tools of the ninja, the secrets of our arts and the method we live by, but we as ninja don't have ranks we have the stuff we do, so in "ninjutsu" the lesser understanding... we use the ju-jutsu ranking method as 'outward imagery", white 3 to red 2 to black 5.....and all the mini belting within.. "but in the end the real skill will not be what you know, but how you use it"

The Masters Chair :  (What is Mastery well in our art it is to have 3-5 systems or more, I personally have 8 but i only normally teach 6...) the arts are more then self defense they are a way of growing courage and better habits in your life and those who share these things with you, in the long run, you can earn alot of things, but will you ever learn where you belong martial wise.... this is the goal of my school/dojo..... to learn to prepare those who see more in themselves the right to have more as it was passed to me to have...(MASTERY ISN'T JUST SKILL, ITS REFLECTION) constantly trying to better what you can already do.... (this level is not given as a offering it has to be earned.... (by the practice of the others)       See you in Class
